Thanks-For-Giving 5K Fund

About

The Thanks-For-Giving 5K offers runners and walkers, a chance to participate in charitable giving and our annual 5K tradition despite the current circumstances and restrictions due to COVID-19. The entire event is about fitness, fun, sportsmanship, and celebration. Employees, contractors, friends and family are invited to harness the Cisco spirit and celebrate Spirit Week – by supporting the community. You have the week to get your 3.1 miles completed.

We strive to create a welcoming environment for people to feel comfortable to explore spiritual matters and grow in Christian faith if they choose.Our Mission guides us in all we do and compels us to embrace, reflect and celebrate the richness of diversity within each other and our community. Healing Transitions, Inc.

Our mission is to offer innovative peer-based recovery oriented services to homeless and underserved individuals with alcoholism and other drug addictions. The program is specifically designed to rekindle a person's desire and ability to return to a meaningful and productive life.

Special Olympics North Carolina Inc

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round athletic training and sports competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families and other Special Olympics athletes and the community. The concept of Special Olympics began in the early 1960's in Chicago, Illinois, and North Carolina held its first Games in 1970 in Burlington. SONC is one of the largest volunteer-driven sports organizations in the state, with more than 20,000 volunteers. Based on the 2022 Special Olympics Athlete Census, SONC has nearly 40,000 registered athletes.
