About

Nearly 10,000 people are missing, and over 5,000 died after Storm Daniel hit part of northeastern Libya, causing severe rains and flooding that swept away entire villages. Derna, a port city in eastern Libya, was the worst hit after two dams burst, killing thousands. According to the International Organization for Migration, about 30,000 people—one-third of its population—were displaced by the flooding. The devastating floods in Libya have left countless families homeless and in desperate need of assistance. In response to this crisis, the Libya Flood Disaster Relief Fund has been established to provide vital support to those affected. This fund aims to provide immediate relief by distributing emergency supplies such as clean drinking water, food, shelter, and medical aid to the affected areas. Additionally, the fund will also focus on long-term recovery efforts, including rebuilding damaged infrastructure, schools, and healthcare facilities. It is through the collective efforts of governments, organizations, and individuals that we can make a significant impact and help restore hope to the affected communities. By donating to the Libya Flood Disaster Relief Fund, you are actively contributing to rebuilding lives and providing much-needed support to those facing unimaginable hardships. Together, we can make a difference and bring relief to those in need.
